I have been a long time shopper at BigGalsLingerie.com and I wanted to really give my readers an idea of what kind of clothing you can find over there. I’ve been playing with my new 88 warm palette from coastal scents since it arrived the other day. Yesterday I came up with a nice neutral look that I really liked because of the soft, creamy, peachy kind of colors used on the lids with the warm, rich chocolate color on the outer eye. It was my intention to have the one eye done and then just show you on the second eye but I forgot I wasn’t filming so this is the point from where you can see me doing my eyeshadow. I like how this look makes my droopy lids look, it opens it up and makes it look more bright and wide and even though the one color had a tiny bit of shimmer in it, this really is a very matte eye look which is nice with the light colors.

Torrid is having a one day sale tomorrow on 10/21 for 50% off of clearance items. Usually when they do this stuff goes really low so if you want something now would be the time to scoop it all up. There will be lots of plus size clothes on clearance for this sale and really cute plus size pants, plus size tops and dresses. Also get your hands on any of their plus size lingerie that will be on clearance and any shoes or accessories that you were putting off. I love when they have one of these super clearance sales, the prices can’t be beat!

Since I discovered today that Lauren Luke has a book published on her makeup looks I thought it would be a good idea to just give you my picks on good make up books to learn how to do makeup like the pros.

On a side note, I received my coastal scents 88 warm palette this weekend and I am in love with it. I also ordered a fluffy domed deluxe crease brush from them which has taken me getting some used to. I am more used to using a firmer brush like the Sonia Kashuk crease brush. I am definitely liking this to achieve that soft blended out look. I also picked up another two brushes, one was the angled eye shadow brush from Sonia Kashuk from Target.com. I watched vintage or tacky use this brush to achieve a nice straight, clean edge on the outer corner of her eyes with this brush and I’m sure I will get better at it’s other uses. Then just a little while ago, I was bored so I drove over to Walgreen’s to see what else I could find and I got a nice all over shadow brush made by Japonesque’s Salon Collection which is made for Walgreen’s and I really needed a larger eye shadow brush to apply lid colors and this one fits nice in the hand and is comfortable and provides good coverage. I’m a very happy camper because I think I have finally worked out a well rounded brush collection. Oh and the brush in Walgreen’s was 50% off too, can’t beat that!
