Torrid is having a one day sale tomorrow on 10/21 for 50% off of clearance items. Usually when they do this stuff goes really low so if you want something now would be the time to scoop it all up. There will be lots of plus size clothes on clearance for this sale and really cute plus size pants, plus size tops and dresses. Also get your hands on any of their plus size lingerie that will be on clearance and any shoes or accessories that you were putting off. I love when they have one of these super clearance sales, the prices can’t be beat!

I have amassed a nice little haul of stuff over the last couple of weeks. Even scoring three maxi dresses now and lots of other pretty tops for the summer. I’ve been having great success finding cute pieces of plus size clothing in my immediate area which really only has Fashion Bug, TJ Maxx, and JC Penney, and latter can look downright matronly lol.

I went to Forever 21 two days ago to check out their Faith 21 line for plus size girls. While 90% of the clothing was very cute, they are cut way way way small and you can tell that they have just extended up to maybe about a size 16 with their 2x size which is all my store had. You can tell when they go from a size 8 and just make it bigger. I applaud them for making a line for plus size girls and that they are hoping on the bandwagon even if the entire plus size collection took up only a corner of the HUGE store.  If you are a real plus size woman though, there is no way that any of their clothing will fit.  I was hoping for at least one item I could have bought but none of the fabric had any real stretch to it and those that did really didn’t look like they could withstand being stretched too too much and would have made the dress or top look bad. Oh well…
