On April 2008 I underwent gastric bypass surgery and in this issue I discuss my weight loss journey from 309 lbs to my current weight of 139 lbs. Though I'm a skinny minnie now, I still feel the plight of my "plus sexy" sisters. I hope this issue helps to give a voice to those who are hoping to be comfortable in the skin they are in.
