Pixi by Petra Review
I just did a quick review of Pixi by Petra available at Target. I bought a couple of palettes a few months back and wasn’t really sure if I liked it but then tonight when I had to throw some makeup on quick I kind of feel like I was hasty in my decision with this cosmetics line. Overall I would have to say that I give Pixi an 8.5 as a good cosmetics line with a nice selection of colors and a full range of products from gel liners to a really nice lustrous eye primer. Watch my video for my full review.

Rakel says:
Have you tried it with a wet application? Usually if you apply it wet it gets darker.
What I like about these shadows is that they have great texture — very silky feeling.
I’ve been eyeing Pixi forever, since Target came out with it, but avoided it because of price. I have purchased 1 single eyeshadow, and today I picked up one of the eye palettes on clearance for $14. The $30 palette is also a really good deal and when I get the courage I’m going to buy that too.

@Rakel: Yes, I have played around with the Pixi colors a bit and with wet application. I think I may have actually ruined the dark brown I have in one of the palettes because of this lol. I would have to say that over time I have really warmed up to how nice the palettes are from Pixi and I think it’s a good value plus I can create several different natural eye looks.
