I’m sure by now most of us have seen the newest system that is being tauted all over the TV as being the next best way to conceal thinning hair or new grown roots with color treated hair. So if you just take a few minutes to actually watch what they are doing it is simply the same principle as filling in your eyebrows with shadow. Naturally I thought to myself that I have a brown eyeshadow that would match my hair color and a few makeup brushes laying around that I just don’t use and gave it a shot. Wouldn’t you know it, this actually does the trick.

Now I don’t have thinning hair but I do have color-treated hair for grays and I tend to not want to dye my roots ever tw0-three weeks. I needed to run out to the DMV on Thursday morning and I certainly was not going to dye my hair to run out for one errand. Besides I didn’t have any hair dye on hand so I tried this trick and it blended in perfectly with my hair so that you could not see any of my gray in the front and crown of my head. The rest was camouflaged with me putting the back up in a pony-tail and that was all I needed to do. It took me about 15 minutes and I was out the door. Overall this is a good, quick, tip to use with products that you would have readily available without having to go out and buy a kit to do this or even spend a lot of money. There are some pros and cons about using shadow but I think that comes with most solutions. It is definitely the BEST solution though.
